 Yes, this is my Canon Powershot S95 camera review. Unfortunately, the other day I broke my camera on a night out with the girls. Right away, I knew I needed a new point and shoot, but nothing totally basic or cheap since I"ve been dabbling a bit in photography. I needed something with a lot more power, but not big, bulky, and expensive like a DSLR.
It has to be something that I can carry around anywhere and not have to worry about long setup times. Imagine how annoying it would be if something really picture worthy came up, and I had to fumble through my bag and missed the opportunity. I don"t want that.
So I went shopping around online checking out places like Newegg, yet it seemed like Amazon was the best source of information for me due to the collection of high quality reviews there. These didn"t seem to be weak write-ups, but rather solid information that I can trust.
I was in the market for something with HD video capabilities in case I needed to record a quick clip on the go (the camera on my Droid just doesn"t cut it), that could take high quality pics, and can handle low lighting environments.
Also, this camera needed to fit perfectly into a pocket or purse for the perfect mobility.
After a great deal of searching. I found exactly what I wanted with the Canon Powershot S95. It"s in the right price range, has all the features I needed, and compared to a DSLR and for its size, I consider it a steal.
